Canuto Kallan
Canuto T. Kallan was born in 1960 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Before his studies at the School of Fine Arts in Athens, he graduated from the Technical School of Copenhagen in 1989, with the specificity of the cabinetmaker and he was awarded with the first national award for his work. At the same time he attended the University of Denmark and he graduated in 1990 as a Mechanical Engineer with a Master in Science ln Engineering. Afterwards, he attended wood preservation courses at Istituto per l'Arte e il Restauro, in Florence, with scholarship from Istituto Italiano and Knud Højgaard foundation.
In 2003 he graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Athens. In 2004 he enrolled in the Department of Engraving.
The Canuto Kallan is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts in Greece.
He lives and works in Athens since 1993.
His works are in the collection of Papadrielleio Gallery in Komotini, in private collections in Greece and abroad, at the headquarters of the company Burmeister & Wain - MAN in Greece (Piraeus) and at the company Postscriptum, Athens.
