Ersi Galleri presents Maria's Pop painting exhibition, on Thursday 12th December 2013 at 8 p.m.

Agela Tamvaki talks about Maria's Pop paintings: "She gives love even at the most humble things, enriching them with a sense of familiarity and nostalgia in many cases".

Her works are about small houses, ordinary and kind people and lifestyle of the past. Apart from the skilful use of difficult traditional materials such as wax or egg, adding larger or smaller inscriptions that explain the painting image, leads to an inevitable connection with folk tradition.
